Nope (2022)

#6. Nope

"Nope is another one of those films that feels bigger than the frame.  An event film.  Where there's more going on than we know.

A Spielberg quality, making a small story feel as big as any ever told."

Jordan Peele films feel like event films.

Where you know you're going to be taken on a ride, and shown something you haven't seen before.

He's pierced through modern day cinema with a sharp nuance, telling Black stories that challenge the status quo, and won't be denied.  Few have such a strong sense of context and allegory, while still being fundamentally entertaining and able to present complex ideas in a simple fashion.
